The 13th hour
Richard Doetsch

Nick is alone in an interrogation room, about to be charged for murdering his wife, a debonair man walks in, hands him a pocket watch and an envelope telling Nick he can change the past but he only has 13 hours. Pulled backward in time one hour at a time, Nick struggles with figuring out who killed Julia and how to stop it. Racing around, meeting the same friends and enemies over and over, unsure who to trust, watching friends die again and again, Nick realizes changing the past is dangerous to himself and everyone he touches. Fast-paced plot with sympathetic characters, similar in appeal to the book Angels and Demons and the movie 88 Minutes.
